About me

Hi! My name is Laurel Fate Sullivan. I was born and raised in Alaska, and I am Koyukon Athabascan. I have been drawing and painting my whole life and have always been passionate about art. I grew up going to my family’s traditional fish camp on the Yukon River every summer, where we fish for king salmon and make smoked salmon, continuing our traditions. I draw a lot of my inspiration for my art from the beautiful surroundings in Alaska, our fish camp, and my Athabascan heritage. I am a student at Stanford university, studying Psychology with a Minor in Russian Language. I also care deeply about mental health awareness, especially in Alaska, and this is something that I want to incorporate into my art in the future.

I am currently working on expanding my portfolio, and I am considering applying to art school to receive my Masters of Fine Art! In the meantime, I sell prints of my paintings, which you can contact me about if interested, and I also do commissions. Thanks for joining me on this journey!!
